CONDITIONS

How do I arrange a quote for my event?

A. All you need to do is either call us on 0438 589 715 or email us at: enquiry@bitemefood.com.au

We will then contact you to discuss your requirements where necessary and provide you a quote to suit your particular needs and budget.

What if I decide to accept the quote?

A. If you accept the quote you will need to provide a deposit by either bank cheque, direct deposit or cash within 21 calendar days of the quote to guarantee the quoted price. Due to the seasonal nature of some food costs, Bite Me Food reserves the right to adjust quoted prices after the 21 day period if no deposit has been received.

How much is the deposit required?

A. The minimum deposit required is 20% of the quoted total price.

What if I have to cancel a booking?

A. All deposits are non-refundable if you cancel less than 7 days prior to the agreed function date. However, any function cancelled less than 14 days prior to the agreed function date may incur a $10.00 administration fee.

When do I pay the final balance?

A. All final paymens will be due on arrival on the agreed function date either in cash or as a bank cheque.

Does the quoted cost include GST?

A. Yes, all quoted prices are inclusive of 10% GST.

DINNER PARTIES

If I have booked a dinner party, when would access to the premises be required?

A. This is dependant on the menu selected, but as a general rule acces no less than 2 hours before service would be required.

How do I know what menu items to combine?

A. We are able to provide specialist advice to ensure that all of your selected course compliment each other and form a well balanced culinary experience.

What resources does the client need to provide for dinner parties?

A. Very little is required except access to an operating kitchen and even this can be worked around where needed. Use of our crockery and utensils (small cost) is at the client's discretion. All cooking equipment (except the oven/cook top) will be supplied. If due to special circumstances you don't have a working oven/cook top then you should discuss with us prior to the quote to explore alternatives.

Do you also supply alcohol for events?

A. Bite Me Food is not licensed to supply alcohol so we cannot assist in this matter. However, our staff are happy to serve your alcohol to your guests. We adhere to Responsible Service of Alcohol requirements at all times.

What if I have a late addition or a revised number of guests?

A. Additional guests can be accommodated up till 72 hours before the event and must be discussed with us directly. Emails or voicemail notifications can be unreliable and as such can not be accepted in under 72 hours as orders will have already been paid for.

PARTIES/CELEBRATIONS

What if I have other party needs not related to the food?

If you find that you are in need of additional party equipment, please discuss with us as we can arrange good rates for many of your additional needs such as chairs, trestle tables, glasses, cutlery or marquees.

BUUFET MENUS

What is the difference between A la Carte and Buffet?

A. A la Carte is a formal sit down method of dinner servcie that is best suited for smaller numbers. Buffet style will involve self service froma centralised station and is most suitable for larger numbers.

SPECIAL NEEDS/REQUESTS

I have a guest with special dietary needs. What can be done for them?

A. This is not an uncommon situation and special meals can be prepared for a variety of special needs, including:

ii. Gluten Free

iii. Vegetarian

iv. Allergies
